Sharing is Caring by Valerie Brown Cheers

“It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

In 2006 while studying at Saint Louis Community College-Forest Park, St. Louis, Mo I was nominated to “Walk-In Nelson Mandela’s Shoes” by the International Scholar Laureate.  I never got to meet him but pray that one day, I will get to meet his beautiful country and amazing family!   I would love the honor to give them a great big hug and tell them what he meant to me!

“Sharing to make this world a better place is a great feeling and caring is the best feeling in the universe!”

“You can share different charities you believe in their causes worldwide using social media!”

“You can share your ideas as they are given to you by God.”

“Volunteering is a healing way of giving back to society and others.”

“You can even share by lending your ear for listening to others and help another vent which is so healing.”

“Don’t be afraid of somebody taking your idea and this is what sharing is about and caring is inspiring others.”

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” ~ Hebrews 13:16

“They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,” ~ Luke 3:11

“Are there problems in the world which you have suggestions that may make our world a better land to live?”

“Don’t be afraid to put your suggestions or ideas out there and all it takes is one voice to be heard, but if you say nothing you get nothing, so don’t be afraid to share your ideas with the world.”

“Say what you feel and mean it and especially if it has helped yourself, it may help one other person.”

“The best talents are those which we may or may not even know we are blessed with from God.” ~ Valerie J Brown

“Just start a fundraiser and if it is for a universal cause and you know in your heart it will help others go ahead and just do it. How will you know if you don’t do it?”

“Don’t worry about what others think or even what others don’t say, just inspiring others inspires you and helps others too and it is a proven fact making others happy can also make you happy.”

“Always remember it costs absolutely nothing to treat others the exact same way you want to be treated no matter who, what, when or where you go in life.”

“To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.” ~ Luke 6:29-30

“Always remember we may or may not know what others are going through and be sensitive to others freedom of speech.”

“Love comes in all forms of giving and a simple thank you, hello and a smile is sharing and caring!”

“Doing the good you can,  by all the means you can,  in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as you ever can.” ~ Valerie J Brown
“To volunteer can be great….because anybody can serve.  You don’t have to have a college degree to serve and monetarily is not the only one way of giving back and sharing your time is caring.”
“You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.  You only need a heart full of grace and we all are blessed with it, so share it!”
“Your soul generates love by sharing and caring.”
Valuable work you do.
Outstanding in how you always come through
Loyal, sincere and full of good cheer
Untiring in your efforts throughout the year
Notable are the contributions you make
Trustworthy in every in project you take
Eager to reach your goals
Effective in the way you fulfill your role
Ready with a smile like a shining star
Special and wonder is what you are!
Just remember sharing and caring is not about fortune nor fame
It’s not for the money;
It’s not for the fame;
It’s not for any personal gain.
It’s just for love of your fellow-man,
It’s just to give a helping hand;
It’s just to give a little of one’s self,
That’s something you can’t buy with wealth;
It’s not for a medal worn with pride,
It’s for that feeling deep inside;
It’s that feeling that you’ve been a part
Of helping people far and near,
That makes you a volunteer!
Many will be shocked to find,
When the day of judgment nears,
That there’s a special place in Heaven
Set aside for volunteers.
Furnished with big recliners,
Satin couches and footstools,
Where there are no committee chairmen,
No yard sales or rest area coffee to serve,
No library duty or bulletin assembly,
There will be nothing to print and staple,
Not one thing to fold and mail,
Telephone lists will be outlawed.
But a finger snap will bring
Cool drinks and gourmet dinners
And rare treats fit for a king.
You ask, “Who’ll serve these privileged few
And work for all they’re worth?”
Why, all those who reaped the benefits,
And not once volunteered on Earth!
“It Takes Courage”
It takes courage
To refrain from gossip, when others delight in it,
To stand up for the absent
person, who is being abused.
It takes courage
To live honestly, within your means,
And not dishonestly, on the means of others.
It takes courage
To be a REAL man, or a TRUE woman,
To hold fast to your ideas,
When it causes you
To be looked upon as strange and peculiar.
It takes courage
To be talked about, and remain silent,
When a word would justify you,
in the eyes of others,
which you dare not speak,
Because it would injure another.
It takes courage
To refuse to do something that is wrong
Although everyone else may be doing it
With attitudes as carefree, as a summer song.
It takes courage
To live according to your own convictions,
To deny yourself, that
which you cannot afford.
To love your neighbor – as yourself!

“The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.” ~Socrates
