No Matter What by Valerie Cheers Brown

If you look at the fact that you have a roof over your head, food to eat, that you are beautiful in spirit and have peace, then no, you have nothing to be sad about.

But the fact is, we are not only a physical body, we have souls too, and sometimes our souls get sick.

If you break an arm you don’t just say ‘I have no reason to have a broken arm’ and ignore it; you seek help. It’s the same when your soul gets hurt.

Don’t apologize for being sad.

When other people treat you poorly, keep being you. Don’t ever let someone else’s bitterness change the person you are. -Anurag Prakash Ray
We have to treat others the exact same way God treats us even when somebody hurts us.
This is why doing what what we love is so very important and if we are not, we are wasting our time!
Dr. Steve Maraboli was on point when he said, “If you fuel your journey on the opinions of others, you are going to run out of fuel. “
When we do what we love it really does help us to make better choices in our life.
Why is it also true that a person who feels appreciated will always do more than what is expected?
Why does it feel good throwing kindness around like it was New Years Eve at midnight when we throw confetti around?
I have worked with many people who showed kindess and appreciation and made me feel appreciated and caused me to want to work even harder and I thank God for this!
The same goes when you work hard trying to do something which not only helps others, but in the long run helps you increasingly more.
Showing kindness costs nothing and it is so needed so much more in our world today, and if we had more there would probably be less turnovers in everyday life on jobs, in clubs, singing groups, any kind of teamplaying, etc. where working with others is demanded.
Emulating this style on a daily basis has some days which will be better than others.
I have found that an environment that has that kindess culture which is full of appreciation for others makes life so much easier for everyone around us and mainly ourselves.
So always remember like Anurag Prakash’s quote says, “When other people treat you poorly, keep being you and don’t ever let someone else’s bitterness change the person you are.”
“No matter what happens, always be yourself” – Dale Carnegie.
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
