There’s No Testimony Without A Test by Valerie Cheers Brown

Knowing that the gospel is true is the essence of a testimony. Consistently being true to the gospel is the essence of conversion. = David A. Bednar

I read an article which sort of saddened my heart by H. Wayne House called “What Does the Bible Teach About the Cannabis Plant? ”

This paragraph really threw me for a loop:

“In summary, the Bible has essentially nothing to say about the use of cannabis or other drugs. Even though many Christians now are attempting to find justification for the use of marijuana, nothing they point to in the Bible holds up under scrutiny. Though the plant was known in the Ancient Near East, it does not seem to be used in ancient Israel, as far as the biblical record is concerned. The attempt to find the hemp plant in Old Testament passages cannot be substantiated from the Hebrew. Also, to argue that all plants are acceptable for our use because God created the universe is mistaken. The course changed our relation to the things of the Earth so that many uses of plants are harmful to us, such as hemlock and poisonous mushrooms. They have a purpose, but this does not mean they are a food to eat or an herb to smoke. Lastly, the attempt to compare the use of marijuana with the moderate use of alcohol fails, since the Bible presents wine as a table beverage, not harmful to the body unless abused.” —H. Wayne House

When all said and done there are living testimonies proving that cannabis helps and even cures!

Look at Montel Williams who has MS and he found out way before my mom and he went on a research rampage and look, he is still alive!

Just look at the article written by Melia Robinson in the Business Insider, April 30, 2017 “Montel Williams Reveals How Smoking Marijuana Every Day of Life Changed His Life.”

http://www.businessinsider.com/montel-williams-marijuana-changed-his-life-2017-4

After his being diagnosed with MS, Williams jumped in front of a taxi in New York City trying to execute himself. Around a similar time, he began utilizing cannabis — particularly kief, a fine powder produced using the plant’s dried gum organs — to help deal with his agony and temperament. Depression is a is one of the most common symptoms of MS,s as indicated by the NMSS.

Today, cannabis “helps me to function,” Williams said.

Doesn’t anybody else want to function or even more, doesn’t anybody want to live?

Taking care of my mom showed me that this disease MS is not a very nice thing to live with or through on a daily basis.

I know each and every single soul manages their illness or disease very different but the pain is pain and if there was something to help curb the pain why would society not allow it to be accessible and/or legal?

Why does something which is naturally grown need to be approved by the FDA when real people are using this plant and are still alive?

As long as who ever is growing it is using proper love and care and not allowing it be contaminated with man-made additives and chemicals, shouldn’t cannabis become legal all over the world?

Is it evil not to want something so blessed and actually shown to cure and even heal in some cases, like epilepsy to go away and never come back to be accessible or even legal for use to all needing it?

God does not need justification and why does man make this be about them and their laws when it is about God and healing His children?.

How much have we really heard this word HEALED being used in society lately and if it is used society tries to make it become ILLEGAL or not safe for ingestion for saving lives?

It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense, isn’t it?

No pun intended but, “Common sense is so rare these days it should be considered a super power.”

With faith, hard work and a bit of common sense you will get through most things in life.

I sincerely believe it is a slap in the face of those who need this plant to live and why is marijuana considered a substance which can be abused?

How can we stop something from becoming legal and safe to use such as marijuana and not stop something which is really being abused such as opioids?

https://www.drugabuse.gov/drugs-abuse/marijuana/nih-research-marijuana-cannabinoids

It states very negatively in this report of the Medical Marijuana NIH National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health: https://nccih.nih.gov/health/marijuana

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has more information on many aspects of marijuana, including how likely people are to abuse it and how chemicals in marijuana affect our brain and body.

Shouldn’t marijuana being used for healing and curing pain be called, “God’s Marijuana?”

What is the Word of God on the Cannabis plant?

The hemp plant (logical name: cannabis, slang: Maryjane) is one of the numerous valuable herbs “yielding seed after its kind” made and favored by God on the third day of creation, “and God saw that it was great.” (Genesis 1:12) He gave hemp for individuals to use with our through and through freedom.

God stated, “Observe, I have given you each herb bearing seed which is upon the substance of all the earth.… To you, it will be for meat.” … And God saw everything that he had made, and, see, it was great. (Beginning 1:29-31) The Bible predicts some herb’s forbiddance. “Presently the Spirit speaketh explicitly, that in the last circumstances, some should … talk lies in fraud … telling to swear off meats which God hath made to be gotten with thanksgiving of them which accept and know reality. (Paul: 1 Timothy 4:1-3)

The Bible discusses an exceptional plant. “I will raise up for them a plant of prestige, and they should be no more overcome with hunger in the land, neither bear the disgrace of the pagan anymore.” (Ezekiel 34:29) A recuperating plant. On either side of the waterway, was there the tree of life, which exposed 12 way of natural products, and yielding her organic product consistently; and the leaves of the tree were for the recuperating of the countries. (Disclosures 22:1-2) A blessing from God.

How was cannabis utilized as a part of Biblical circumstances and grounds?

Cannabis was utilized 12 ways: apparel, paper, rope, sails, fishnet, oil, sealant, incense, sustenance, and in service, unwinding, and drug. For so the Lord said unto me, “I will take my rest and I will consider in my home like a reasonable warmth upon herbs. For in advance of gather, when the bud is flawless and the harsh grape is maturing in the bloom, he should remove the sprigs with pruning snares and bring without end and chop down the branches.” (Isaiah 18:4-5)

Shouldn’t something be said about cannabis today?

Hemp today has a large number of employments. Current innovation has conceived numerous new uses for the hemp plant&emdash; like biomass vitality, building materials, fuel, plastic et cetera. Hemp is environmental and its seed is among the best nourishment edits on Earth. Chosen assortments deliver blossoms that give a home grown relaxant and a profound apparatus. Its herb is utilized all inclusive as a solution.

Does the Bible talk about medications?

Liquor is the main medication transparently talked about in the Bible, so it must fill in as our reference. Wine is flushed amid religious events, for example, Passover &emdash; the Last Supper of Jesus and His devotees. It remains a holy observance in present day church administrations.

Jesus started his open life by supernaturally transforming water into wine at the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-10) when the gathering ran out. The Bible recognizes utilize and abuse. It says, Gives solid drink unto him that is prepared to die and wine unto those that be of substantial hearts. (Adages 31:6-7) however Woe unto them that … take after solid drink; that proceeds until the point when night, till wine kindle them! (Isaiah 5:10)

However, the basic delights of drinking were additionally sung. He causeth the grass to develop for the steers, and herb for the administration of man: that he may deliver nourishment out of the earth; And wine that maketh happy the core of man and oil to make his face to shineth. (Hymn 104:14-15)

“Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.”
