The faith movement says, “Faith is a condition for our healing those who are not healed, failed because they did not have the required amount of faith for God to react.”
Hmm?
Now…I know will probably get arguments on this, but this is just thoughts and basically a discussion open for comments.
“Healings were done in numerous ways. By the person’s faith, by intermediary prayer by another, and by God himself with no faith from the person present.”
As a child I always thought about how do will we know about ourselves and is it that we get our healings when others pray or do we actually have to be the ones who the faith for the healing to be blessed.
God made us all so different, yet so much like one another more so than animals, and He must have done this for some great reason.
Yeah…know this may seem absurd, but as a kid you think things which others may find disbelief, but as we grow older they don’t seem to be absurd at all
Especially when we start to experience in our own life trials and tribulations, sickness, etc.
We learn how to get better sometimes by what others go through, i.e.our parents and sickness or even deaths and by our improving our own lives by what we saw others experiencing..
At least we should be paying attention I would think?
We are all different, yet we are all made up similar numbers or genomes as our molecule makeup, but by the way or depending on the order of those numbers makes us different; and we may be siblings, but because of how those numbers of those molecules are lined up are situated, decides whether you are the chosen one to get the illness passed down to you I do believe.
I know it sounds ludicrous but the more I am researching and studying the more I am learning and want to try to explain as elementary as possible to share with others and to help me better understand too.
These reasons it would seem to me that would be our makeup through our genomes or DNA.
A genome is all of a living thing’s genetic material. It is the entire set of hereditary instructions for building, running, and maintaining an organism, and passing life on to the next generation. The whole shebang.
In most living things, the genome is made of a chemical called DNA. The genome contains genes, which are packaged in chromosomes and affect specific characteristics of the organism.
Imagine these relationships as a set of Chinese boxes nested one inside the other. The largest box represents the genome. Inside it, a smaller box represents the chromosomes. Inside that is a box representing genes, and inside that, finally, is the smallest box, the DNA.
In short, the genome is divided into chromosomes, chromosomes contain genes, and genes are made of DNA.
The word ” genome ” was coined in about 1930, even though scientists didn’t know then what the genome was made of. They only knew that the genome was important enough, whatever it was, to have a name.
Each one of earth’s species has its own distinctive genome: the dog genome, the wheat genome, the genomes of the cow, cold virus, Bok choy, Escherichia coli (a bacterium that lives in the human gut and in animal intestines), and so on.
So genomes belong to species, but they also belong to individuals. Every giraffe on the African savanna has a unique genome, as does every elephant, acacia tree, and ostrich. Unless you are an identical twin, your genome is different from that of every other person on earth—in fact, it is different from that of every other person who has ever lived.
Though unique, your genome is still recognizably a human genome. The difference is simply a matter of degree: The genome differences between two people are much smaller than the genome differences between people and our closest relatives, the chimpanzees.

God uses many things to get unbelievers attention but the most detrimental thing to preach is to come to God because He’s the great fixer upper, He’ll heal you, make you well, fix your marriage give you a successful job, and make you look good to boot!
While He can do any one of these, except for changing how we look, this is not the reason we should come to God?
We come to him because of who He is and how He showed His love for us by sending His son to die, He is the giver of our lives and deserves our worship, simply for who He is, and not for what He will do for us.

The apostle Paul had a greater standing with the Lord in terms of His ministry than you or I have or anybody else has ever had.
According to 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 Paul requested healing from the Lord three times. “And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure (boasting).
Paul was not boasting, but it was to keep him from elevating himself since he was someone God was going to use as no other.
Faith teachers are stupefied on this point because he can’t just speak it away, he ends up pleading with the Lord and receives an answer that essentially says God’s will determine Paul’s afflictions.
God said, “NO” to Paul’s request for healing because God had a purpose in His saying no.
There was no positive confession to release the force of faith and change his condition, God did not want to. That’s right- God did not want Paul healed.
You may ask why? The answer is right there in the text. “Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
God’s power was exhibited in Paul’s life because of his affliction. His weakness was a physical handicap. Gods answer was His grace, this is the very opposite of the faith teaching which says because they are whole and strong physically, God’s power is there.
Paul goes on ” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Notice he says when he is weak (in himself) then he is strong (in Christ).
Did Paul have a lack of faith?
No! Paul was not suffering from some secret sin that he was carrying around!
He was able to be used of God and yet he suffered with a physical ailment his whole ministry.
The faith movement actually undermines faith in the absolute authority of Scripture and transfers it to be an inherent power in a human whose own commands becomes the criteria?
He was strong because of his dependency on God, it is not self focused but a God focus.
This is what true faith is, not trusting in ones faith or commanding or decreeing.
But having patience, waiting on God and renewing your strength as you wait for the promise to come.
It took for me to actually go through something and I mean really work so hard that it began seeming like, “What am I doing this for, but when I remain close to God, He helped me to realize this, “Ask in My Name and you shall receive.”
He never said it would happen in a blink of an eye, but I remain “Belief by Faith.”
I do honestly believe that by believing in our own blessings, healings, etc.it will not only be believed by oneself, but it will show on the outside as well as on the inside for ourselves to remain at peace with oneself.
I guess you may be saying…now what does science have to do with the religion?
I normally don’t like to discuss religion nor politics, which can be a very touchy and delicate topic and do not want to upset anybody and merely expressing my thoughts and looking for answers really.
I always admired Sir Isaac Newton who was known as one of the greatest scientist ever and if we had scientist like this today, maybe…just maybe we may have more cures than medicine… which does not work but makes us more sick when we stop taking it abruptly?
If the Bible is to be trusted on such spiritual issues as salvation, the church, or prophecy why can it not be trusted on such physical issues as origins, earth history, or even healing?
